SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATION

Our Focus

We provide grants and scholarships to further the medical education of those in need. Areas of focus for research will include but not be limited to gynecologic oncology, gynecologic surgery, general oncology, general surgery, and vascular surgery.

Scholarships

We review applications for grants and scholarships submitted through an online web-based system We grant scholarships to applicants based on merit and need.

Donations

We accept charitable donations from individuals or organizations wishing to support medical research, education, and financial assistance to those in need.

Grants

Grants may be used for purposes of funding research presentations, travel costs, publication costs, and related materials.

In Memoriam

Our Mission

The Hsu Medical Education Foundation is a charitable non-profit that funds grants and scholarships for medical students, physicians-in-training, and physicians to provide financial support for education and research in medicine.

We are founded in memoriam of the late Dr. Chien -Tien Hsu (1912-1992), who practiced gynecology and gynecological oncology in Taipei, Taiwan, and pioneered surgical treatments for cervical and ovarian cancer. Aspects of his treatments are still relevant and used today. He founded Taipei Medical College in 1960 and was a professor in obstetrics, gynecology, and biochemistry. Tax ID number is 81-4367330
